Northwood Office has partnered with myCOI as our primary Certificate of Insurance tracking partner.
What services does myCOI provide?
- Collects, tracks and verifies that certificates of insurance meet the requirements specified in lease documents
- Works directly with your insurance agent to obtain a compliant certificate; however, they will not dictate policy terms. If your policy is not compliant, your insurance agent will contact you to discuss.
How will this affect you?
- All certificates will be provided to myCOI directly through your insurance agent by using the myCOI Agent Portal.
- When a renewal certificate is needed, myCOI will request an updated certificate from your insurance agent.
- Insurance cancellation notices, premium past due notices, etc, will be sent to Northwood Office and you will be required to update your insurance obligations accordingly and provide myCOI with the necessary information for compliance.
- If you change insurance agents, you will need to contact myCOI with the new company and agent information.
