Is there a conference room located in the building that we can use?
There is no conference room in the building; however, we have several on-campus options. Please reach out to The Ballantyne, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Charlotte, Aloft Charlotte Ballantyne or Your Office USA for event space inquiries.
Can we reserve a putting green or outdoor public space to host a company event?
Yes, park reservations are available exclusively for Ballantyne tenant events and select community events approved by Northwood Office. Parks are not available to rent or reserve for personal use. Please navigate to the Resource Schedule tab from the Tenant Homepage. If further assistance is required, please contact your company’s tenant administrator.
Are there grills located in the parks to use for company events?
Yes, there are fixed charcoal grills located in multiple locations throughout the property and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Is there a lactation room in the building?
Not at this time.
Deliveries & Moves:
Can we have furniture or appliances delivered during business hours? If not, what hours are acceptable?
All deliveries must take place either before 7:30 a.m. or after 5:30 p.m., Monday-Friday, and are permitted anytime over the weekend.
What do I do if I have to move any large items in or out of my space?
Advise the people moving that this can only be done before or after business hours. Enter a work order to have the elevators padded if necessary. Inform your property management team so they can let security know of the move and grant access to your space if need be.
Emergency Response:
What is the Emergency Response protocol?
The Emergency Response Plan is found in the tenant manual, in the Documents section of this site. Please also refer to the area specific Emergency Response Guide for further detail.
Heating & Cooling:
Can our employees use space heaters?
Space heaters are against fire code and can result in a fine from the fire department. Please submit a work order for the HVAC technician if heating/cooling conditions need to be adjusted in your space.
Janitorial Issues:
What should I do if have a janitorial issue?
Please enter a work order in the system. The work order will go directly to the janitorial supervisor and property management will be notified. The work order system will also have record of any recurring issues. Please contact your property management team if you would prefer for them to address your concern with the cleaning company.
Parking:
Can my employees park in the two hour parking spaces if they will be here for less than two hours?
The visitor parking spaces are designated for guests of the tenants and not employees.
Are employees allowed to leave their cars in parking lots overnight? If so, what information do I need to provide and how long can it be left in the parking lot?
Please contact your property management team to discuss the duration of your request.
Telecommunications:
Who do I contact if my cable/telephone vendor needs to access the buildings telecom closet?
Please schedule through your property management team and contact Ballantyne Security for access at 704-649-8200.
Waste & Recycling:
What should I do with trash that cannot fit in our regular bins?
All boxes need to be broken down and labeled as trash. Additional trash bags can also be labeled as trash. Trash labels are provided by the cleaning company. If you need additional labels, please enter in a work order.
Is there a recycling program in the building?
Yes, we encourage you to join us in separated recycling per the following guidelines:
Does the Park offer electronic recycling?
We offer free, secure shredding and electronic recycling for the community to enjoy at our annual Ballantyne Earth Day event in April. For ongoing recycling needs, Ballantyne customers can now easily recycle their office equipment by scheduling an on-site pickup with Goodwill.
Pets:
Can I bring my pet to work?
Pets are not permitted in the building at any time, whether during or after business hours.
Security:
Is Ballantyne Security available 24/7?
Yes, Ballantyne Security is available around the clock, and they can be reached at 704-649-8200.
Who do I call if I lock myself out of my office?
Please contact Ballantyne Security for access at 704-649-8200.
Does our building have a Lost and Found?
Yes, it’s located in the Ballantyne Security Office. If you find a lost item, please contact the Ballantyne Security team to pick up and hold in the Lost and Found.
Smoking:
Can employees smoke at building entrances or is there a designated smoking area? Are e-cigarettes allowed to be used in the building?
Smoking is permitted in the designated smoking area that is specific to your location, which is a minimum of 25’ from any building entrance. Smoking is not permitted at building entrances, loading dock or dumpster enclosure areas. E-cigarettes are considered a smoking device which emits fumes and can be used at designated smoking areas only.

- Acceptable materials include cardboard, mixed office paper, aluminum, plastic and metal.
- All recyclable containers must be empty and free of debris. If any single material becomes contaminated by an unclean container, the entire batch becomes non-recyclable (e.g., a drink container with liquid still in it or a pizza box with food in it will make the entire load unrecyclable).
